Those are the lyrics delivered with incredible nonchalence by Giggs in the opening fifteen seconds of his back-of-the-bus freestyle favourite, verses that have spilling out from awful Nokia speakers citywide. I’m probably later than everyone else to jump on this, especially considering the video has already had 380, 000+ views on YouTube. The lyrical and visual content of the track however ensures it will never see the the light of radio or TV play for the good of the nation’s youth. If you like your UK rap doused heavily (and then some) in violence, misogyny and narcotics then you’ll probably still find this vitriolic commentary of inner city lifestyles a bit excessive.

Giggs – ‘Freestyle’

Simon and Eliza don’t show off their tools with quite the same remarkable bravado as Giggsy but they’ve also been getting a lot of love at our humble abode. The dichotomy of this playlist is probably a telling reflection on what makes us tick, so lets not read too much into that. Nottingham based Simon somehow managed to cross paths with striking Utah native Eliza and their harmonius marriage has culminated with brilliantly lush pop arranged around some sparkling vocals.
