No, Grouper definitely isn’t party music. It’s the theme tune to the end of a night shift stacking shelves in Asda and walking home through a lifeless urban wasteland as the heavens open. It starts pissing down but you stopped caring about pointless things like getting wet about 6 hours ago. The distant drones and gentle melody of ‘False Horizon’ guide you home through the misty landscape.
The force behind the fuzzy lullaby is one Liz Harris and was part of a split 7” with City Center but they’re all gone so we’re letting you listen to it here.
