One of the better/lucicrous rumours we’ve heard recently was that the Emil in Emil & Friends was Hollywood young gun Emile Hirsch doing a Scarlett. You might know Emile from such Oscar nominated hits as Into The Wild and Milk. The DVD collection at Transparent Towers is for the more discerning viewer, and thus we only know him from the amazing Girl Next Door.

Turns out they were just rumours to get us excited, but it doesn’t really matter because the ‘real’ Emil makes sparkling synths and badass basslines sound like something Hirsch can only dream of in his Oscar acceptance speech fantasies.
