Reinvention and second chances are rare in the fickle world of music but it’s been a year for doing Stars In Your Eyes transformations – White Lies, Empire Of The Sun, Magistrates and Little Comets all bucking the trend. Similarly, Golden Silvers have shed the synth wig-outs of former incarnation Dolly Daggers and channelled them into a very English (almost Squeeze-esque) disco fizz on new single ‘True Romance’.
