So in all my bed-bound no-morning crawling inertia of late I’ve overslept on a few things that I meant to post about a little while ago. Mainly though this can be condensed neatly in my saying just how good the new No Pain In Pop compilation is. Throw a fiver on it here . One of the many stand out tracks on the disc and forthcoming NPIP single is “Strangling Good Guys”, the first offering from shadow found London outfit Trailer Trash Tracys. The song is a strange flowering freak-pop fantasia that sees Elizabeth Fraser ‘s most oil spilt, sea swimming nightmares eternally looping in glorious, grainy technicolor and I kind of want to wade into the middle of it.
