Luv Buzz

Not sure if it was divine providence, or fate unbeatable or perhaps even just luck outrageous but this landed in the spam-loaded, junk-nailed inbox of my almost discarded heart today (a today that’s passing will not be lamented) and roaring through my veins it will be for a long time yet. The “Yesterday” that haunts the very bones of London’s only ivansxtc however, doesn’t seem to be dictated by such an arbitrary, stone-set tyranny of time – its spectre (perhaps fond, perhaps rueful, completely beautiful) is never going away and is to be found stalking every second of the song’s psychedoomic nightmareish nostalgia. It’s there in the jam’s eerie cyclic nature, its brave hugeness and its damaged romance as it chases an elusive but everything purple-clad dreamgirl through fog and fire. You can feel it too:
