The wholly heroic Half Machine have announced the release of the new single from London’s dreamcaught Banjo Or Freakout . “Left It Alone” is a sorrowful little spirit-healing, unassumingly epiphanic pop jam that sees Alessio Natalizia’s breath-bereft, wistful vocal wander wonder-wracked and black cloud lonely through a thick fog of nebulous, low-lying guitar loops that build, swell and breathe as sharp-shooting worries on a fragile, friday-fraught mind. No corners on the day here though and everything about Natalizia’s half-forgotten, hypnotic pop haze is cyclical so any such concerns soon work themselves into glorious resolution or inebriate ether eventually (and entirely naturally), the jam reaching sacred vanishing point and ghosting as if reclaimed by the very atmosphere from which it was born; only sweet relief and the shadow of ever courageous happiness left in its wake.
