TP001 - Emil & Friends

We aren’t entirely sure how this happened but what we intended to be the first seven inch on Transparent has actually ended up landing fourth chronologically. This almost eternal labour of love hasn’t stopped us being as excited as we were when we first asked Emil & Friends if we could put out his debut single.
The A-side has been floating around for a while but it’s backed with a starry eyed ode to ‘Josephine’, which just happens to remind us a tiny bit of How Deep Is Your Love. That’s never, ever a bad thing. As always you can download both tracks below and it is currently sitting on the shelves so to get your physical re-up order here.
Emil & Friends – Downed Economy
++++++
Apologies for the lack of posts recently but we’ve just been moving house and had some technical difficulties but we’re getting our swag on again this week with lots of new blogs.
For all our trans-Atlantic friends you can now order some of our singles from Leftist Nautical Antiques without the high shipping costs. We’re sorry to anyone who has already ordered from the UK with the higher postage but it took us a while to get it all sorted.

artwork worth the wait.

Full Disclosure: We did the art for this album.
Truth Behind It: We really love the music, and were thrilled to be a part of this first (or fourth?) release at Transparent.
Cool dudes on the whole project.

haha that galaxy background is the same one I used to make the Giantess artwork. there’s a glaring lack of selection in the hi-res galaxy market these days.
