One of our favourite new acts to emerge fully formed and perfectly crystallised from the endless ether of the internet this year, Small Black , now have copies of their self-released debut EP available to pre-order. Including jam-of-the-year candidate Despicable Dogs in all its aching melancholy, understated majesty and easily come by pop melody and the mesmeric, radiation-sick electronics of“Weird Machines”, it is a truly special release and bodes well for a full length to follow in the new year, as well as a new single through ourselves here at Transparent around the same sort of time. Only 500 copies available on this spin though, so well worth getting up early for.
