We’ve been crossing off the days on our calendar and counting down to the main event this Saturday night when we can finally lose ourselves to the transcendent, out-of-body party beats of Joy Orbison at Badlands II. If you’re up for seeing the man behind the boldest and most ludicrous monicker of the year (as well as Acyde and a DJ set from The Big Pink), we’ll meet you at the bar.

Badlands was launched in a converted Turkish baths and had the dubious pleasure of yours truly hijacking the decks at 4am for an impromptu set of classics, which may or may not be the reason they’ve now moved down the road. We’re sure the former occupiers would have loved it.
