Fresh from being bestowed the deserved honour of Best New Music , long-term Transparent loved ones Memory Tapes (via their label, the giants at Acephale) have sent us a new track from the blessed, nostalgic, dream patchwork that is “Seek Magic”. As you may have come to expect, “Green Knight” is a brooding, ghost-coloured disco monster that melds taut; veiny funk guitar, possessed soul girl-group vocals, a spirit shuffling house beat and all sorts of evocative synth wizardry into something that is much more singular than the sum of its parts and much more than wonderful with it.

“Seek Magic” can be purchased direct from Acephale here, or alternatively through Something In Construction via Rough Trade here and is available on Itunes and other online vendours for those not willing to brave the Autumn outside just yet.
