De Rol Lé is the project of Austin, Texas dwelling Josef Calamusa. “Beach Cassette Jam” is his calling card and sounds as if it has been plucked straight from the fizzing sherbert brain of a lunacy-beached, peculiarly beautiful, possessed prodigal child who, tired of tormenting teachers with crazed and prophetic cartoon doodling of popular Disney animations set in nuclear fallout zones, has been packed off to a secret subtropical island infirmary where he is hailed as a manical messiah and leads the asylum in an outrageous, grotesque carnival of chaos and dancing and chanting that is heard and felt by square-eyed loop-fiends in devil-visited caffeine dreams entire continents away for days upon days (i.e. here and now.)
