Morning Chasing

We’ve been flipping our lid for “Superball” – the latest sacred offering from tear-jerking, romance-rescuing, heaven’s house big band Magic Kids for a perfect minute now since it was first posted on their Myspace and so we were pretty delighted when Will from the Memphis troupe fired the Mp3 over in a magnificent bottlerocket of goodwill, joy and wonderful; delirious, galloping pop songs this morning so we can listen to it in the terrifying, grey forever of outdoors and envisage the entire world as a technicolour dreaming disneyscape devoid of pain and sadness, for three minutes or so at least. All this, plus, it is now officially tied for our favourite song ever containing a hook of “bounce bounce, bounce bounce”.

Magic Kids – Superball

Now usually I don’t do this…but in more Smith Westerns related news, the indefatigable “Superball” is soon to become available as part of a very special split 7” with the much-gushed-on “Imagine Pt. 3” courtesy of Fat Possum. Might want to look out for that one.
