It didn’t take long for Lashes to realise she was the object of our affections and coincidentally undergo a quick namechange to throw us off the scent. But just as we’ve reappeared from our holiday slumber she’s come back onto our radar with this brand new jam under the way more playful monicker of Pink Playground. If the name is anything to go by you’d think this would be in the Pussycat Dolls ballpark but ‘Silver Chain’ is a real curveball of a track; unfurling all doom drenched, dystopian and dusty its four minutes are punctuated only by the tender lilts of a faint far away chanteuse. In short, it is simultaneously wonderful + spooky.
