Hey dream-dry, silver surfer pleasure seekers! Divorce yourself from the ugly now and bump up to flawless forever with Loughborough/Nottingham’s Infinity Hertz. The glum-god spirit of John Maus hangs heavy in the leaden, boom ‘n’ gloom vocals of the icy “Prolapse”, bellowing around ghoulishly as it does amidst the song’s malevolent malestom of austere, narcotic New Order synths. There’s melody to be found here though, gorgeous crystalline melody at that, and when the light hits it right it shines like all paradise itself.
