We slavered on ecstatically about our forthcoming Active Child 7” release just a few days ago and now we’re back with even more good news from the thin-air nowhere as we dish out the two tasty, wholesome morsels that make up the single’s delightful little remix package. First up, Denver’s Pina Chulada blur the edges of the sublime “She Was A Vision” until it’s a strange, lurching robot ghost of it’s former self – wonky and wired but retaining it’s solid-gold soul. Secondly, major recipient of our summer loving Summer Camp are on hand to fix up “Voice Of An Old Friend” with what is actually more of a re-work; the enigmatic troupe pouring pure, celestial light over the original’s glacial tension until it’s smiling toothy like some sort of trippy, half-forgotten new-age playground chant.
