Been meaning to post about Esben And The Witch for a while now but we’ve finally been sprung into action after unceremoniously slipping and tripping through the treacherous weather conditions to catch their enchanting live show at omnipotent London clubnight White Heat a couple of evenings ago. The Brighton trio craft a cinematic séance-pop that sees Rachel Davies illuminate the dark recesses of cavernous tracks like ‘Marching Song’ with all that is brooding, twisted and lovesore.
