We’re glad it’s Sunday because it means our hellraiser of a week is nearly over and we now need something ghostly and lower register to ease us through the last few hours. Cue the man in charge of extra sensory perception at XL feeling our vibe and immediately sending us the Holly Miranda full length. We’ve been under Holly’s spell since we heard the awesome Dave Sitek produced Waves and her debut continues to plunge the same luminous, opalescent depths. If further evidence was needed then it comes courtesy of ‘No One Just In’ in which we take a late night ride through a mind which is brooding, doomed, free-spirited and mellow all at the same time.
