We nearly choked on our Cornflakes just now, such was the surprise and delight to see the heavily loaded Eternal Summers slab of seven inch drop on our doormat courtesy of Meal Deal Records. The five song EP is bulging with mellow, reverb-happy, factor-50 pop melodies and none moreso than on ‘Electric Blue’ where louching vocalist Nicole Yun takes a time-out and passes the baton to equally sparkle-eyed drummer Daniel. ‘Seasons’ is officially out next week on pure white vinyl and should be pre-ordered here.
