Say hello to the instantaneous, brain-burrowing throwback pop of Sonny & The Sunsets which has been lighting up our lives courtesy of the introduction from Catbirdseat yesterday. Clocking in at under two minutes, any melancholy in their ‘Heart Of Sadness’ is kept in check under splashes of warm reverb, a soul-bearing croon and sun stroking melody all laid over an Abe Vigoda referencing tropical backdrop. This track (and others) will be brought to life at the start of March on the brand new Secret Seven compilation.
