If David Byrne decided to sell all his stuff/catalogue on Ebay and start all over again from Year Zero with what he had left in his snowed-in Brooklyn basement, we think he might end up landing somewhere near the sound of Psychobuildings. At the helm of it at all Peter LaBier’s deep droll steers carefully away from pastiche, around the casually out of place chimes littering ‘Birds Of Prey’ and into a light, lean and loopy pop jam that feels simultaneously familiar + fresh. Look out for this and more populating a bunch of singles on All Hands Electric and Cass Club in coming months.
