Not a lot of lowdown on Italy’s “Welcome Back Sailors” but we’ve been digging hard on their first song since they floated it our way across the murky waters of the internet in the week. “I’ll Be There” is a patient, milky-smooth moonlit number that comes off like the reflective after hours counterpart to the sweat-soaked, hands-in-the-air balearia and bedroom-born, beach-dreaming dance formations dominating our collective conscience of late. The sighing, skyward vocals and reverb-leaden guitar ripples still shimmer in irridescent pools of cosmic noise but everything is leaning a little more inward, soft-shaded, beats blunted as comedown looms.
