Transparent is swollen with pride to announce our next 7” release: “Portrait” by New York’s highest priests of party Psychobuildings. We’ve already gushed shamelessly over “Portrait” recently, falling hard for its agitated, apocalpytic energy and paranormal pop appeal and quickly decided that we needed to put our name to this record by any means necessary. “No Man’s Land”, on the flipside, is more mutant space-funk plucked from teenage sci-fi dreams, LaBier’s signature brainiac mutter weaving its way through a tangled, claustrophoic night-wave cityscape – dense and bustling but still boasting a snake-hipped elasticity for the dancefloor.
