Myles is genuinely one of the most special, innovative and idiosyncratic artists and performers we’ve had the privelige to work with and putting together this cut has been a huge honour. “Gonna Find Boyfriends Today” is amorphous and uncontainable, a truly modern pop song – it is a psychedelic childrens TV jingle boasting a seriously transcendental, roof-raising gospel chorus; a playful kaleidoscopic paen to fun and freedom, an unafraid gay disco-house booty-shaker to welcome the sun up. Backed with the pervy white-boy space funk of “Lord Love Music” in which Myles becomes a post-apocalyptic porno preacher, this record is definitely not advised for people who aren’t really that into having loads and loads of fun.
