Twenty Four

Gigantic hugs to Italian duo Alberto and Letizia AKA Young Wrists for bottling up the summer of ’86 and recalling just how much fun our parents must have been having before we came along and ruined every subsequent season. A bronzed, 3 minute summer holiday pop song if ever we heard one, “July 1986” was written in the coastal town of Pesaro and bears all the signs of being born at the seaside; a glorious, soft-focus coral melody and dreamy, sunset chords submerged beneath Letizia’s bold, barefoot vocals.
